María G. Holper
María G. Holper has been a Director of Religious Education for 19 years. She started at St. Anthony Claret in Anaheim, California in 1987. Under her leadership, she had the ministries of the Youth Confirmation preparation in Spanish and was one of the first to start the R.C.I.A. and R.C.I.A adapted for children in Spanish. She was also responsible for the religious formation of the Elementary and Junior High grades.
María was also one of the first to start the Sunday Liturgy of the Word dismissals in Spanish. She served on the R.C.I.A. Board for the Diocese of Orange for two years and was assigned to host two R.C.I.A. National Forum of N.A seminars at the Marywood Center.
María attended St. Michael’s High School in Los Angeles and is bilingual. She is certified and is working towards her Master Catechist Certification. She has attended the classes offered by the Rose Kennedy Foundation in preparation for working with special needs children.
Presently, María is the Director of Religious Education for both English and Spanish programs at St. Boniface. Current enrollment in all programs totals 1,005 students.
